Who We Are
We are a husband-and-wife-led, Edmonton-based business dedicated to restoring soil health in lawns, gardens, and trees using completely organic, chemical-free methods.
Elijah brings technical knowledge through his Organic Master Gardener certification, hands-on soil restoration work, composting experience, and biology-based compost tea brewing. Christianne Hall, is also a Certified Organic Master Gardener and plays an important supporting role in helping with soil assessments, compost tea processes, and plant knowledge.
Maxine supports the business with organization, customer care, and a deep commitment to doing what is right, values that guide every interaction with the people we serve.
Our family encourages and supports us, but the core work is carried out by our small, dedicated team: Elijah, Maxine, and Christianne.
Plant ResQ Solutions began with a simple realization: healthy lawns start with healthy soil. In 2023, Elijah enrolled in the Organic Master Gardener program to better understand the hidden ecosystem beneath our feet. What began as curiosity quickly became a passion as he learned that soil biology, with living organisms such as bacteria, fungi, protozoa, nematodes, and microfauna, creates strong, vibrant plant life when allowed to thrive naturally. At the same time, Elijah found himself paying closer attention to the lawns, gardens, and trees around Edmonton. He noticed that yards treated with chemicals often didn’t look much different from those treated with nothing at all, and in some cases, they looked worse. Something wasn’t adding up. Growing up as a member of the Peepeekisis Cree Nation, Elijah learned from his Mother and Father how to respect the land, observe nature closely, and work with what the earth already provides. Those early teachings resurfaced during his soil studies, bringing everything full circle.After completing his certification and testing countless compost teas, lawn restorations, and soil rebuilds at home, Elijah and his wife made the decision to build something meaningful together, a business grounded in science, family values, and responsible land care. Plant ResQ Solutions was born from that purpose.
